Richardson's Five make dramatic Australian comback

India is now evolving as the new chokers of the international cricket. John Hastings and Kane Richardson destroyed the visitors - losing 9 for 46 after centuries from Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan had taken India to a comfortable position of 72 runs of victory with 75 balls remaining, but still lost it in the end.

earlier, Aaron Finch made 107 and David Warner returned from paternity leave to score a quick 93. Quick-fire knocks by in-form Aussies skipper Steven Smith (51 off 37) and Glenn Maxwell (41 off 29) kept the momentum going as eventually Australia managed to put up a huge total of 348 runs.
For India Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav were amongst the wickets.
In reply, Shikhar Dhawan scored a beautiful 126 and Virat Kohli added 106, the pair shared a 212-run partnership for the second wicket and seemingly setting India on course for a record-breaking victory until the dramatic late collapse ended with the visitors all out for 323 in 49.2 overs.
India was coasting at 277 for 1 in reply in the 38th over but lost their last nine wickets for 46 runs, with Richardson taking 4-16 in a match-turning spell and finishing off with 5-68 for the innings.
But in his last over of the exemplary spell, Hastings was rewarded for keeping things tight. Dhawan sliced a slower ball to backward point, then two balls later MS Dhoni touched a leg cutter behind. replacing Hastings, Richardson had Kohli caught at mid-off by Steven Smith off the first ball. Smith closed in admirably with tight fields that also sought wickets.
Kane Richardson ran through that Indian batting order boasting of inexperience. He finished off with a sounding spell of 5/68 in his ten overs.
With their fourth loss on the trot, India is trailing 4-0 in the series and are on the verge of facing a whitewash.
