Khawaja 104 off 58 ball made the team(Sydney Thunder) to enter into the final.This was Khawaja's 2nd century of the season.



Khawaja has reached rare heights this summer, but here, the Strikers were unable to stop him. Within four overs, Khawaja had shared 53 with Shane Watson, who was allowed to bat for just three deliveries. Gary Putland was recalled by the Strikers to control the flow of Khawaja but Portland was mauled by Khawaja, with a brutal flick to leg in his first over and followed by scythe through the covers in the next over.


Adelaide strikers won the toss and elected to bat first but they didn't utilised the opportunity and lost the openers early.CJ Green of Thunder controlled the strikers and he got the support from Mckay andWatson.Strikers after 20 overs managed to get 159 for 7 wickets

Later Khawaja of Thunder started batting and made 104 runs with 3 sixes and 13 fours almost finished the game and made his team enter into the final.
